Manuela Wolf,  Chief Executive Officer

A native of Augsburg, Germany, Manuela immigrated to the Republican City area in 1994. Starting her healthcare career in 2000 as an LPN, she then received her RN degree from the Bryan School of Nursing in Lincoln in 2003, her BSN from UNMC in 2011 and her Master in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University in 2014. Prior to accepting the appointment to Chief Executive Officer she was the Chief Nursing Officer at Harlan County Health System and had been a member of the Administrative Team at HCHS for over five years.

Manuela serves as the Region 4 Chair on the Board of the Nebraska Hospital Association and is a member of the American Hospital Association Advisory Council for Small and Rural Hospitals. She is a member of the NHA Policy Development Committee and a member of the Region 3 Trauma Board. Manuela is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is currently pursuing her Board Certification in Healthcare Leadership (FACHE).






 Suzanne Lans, Chief Financial Officer

With an extensive background in accounting and finance, Suzanne was comptroller for Allmand Brothers in Holdrege, a post she had held for 15 years, prior to joining HCHS in 2009. As Chief Financial Officer, she supervises the financial affairs of the hospital. Suzanne also holds an AA degree in secretarial science with accounting emphasis, and received her BS in business administration, accounting emphasis from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Suzanne has had additional training in situational leadership as well as in other management and financial topics.
